Visited on a sunny september 2006 but nearly missed shop as right outside was a huge yellow skip as loads of building work going on and half the tram lines around corner being dug up. carmona small and cosy only had one fellow smoker girl who was using internet. it was mainly full of workers grabbing quick coffee before going back to work on tram tracks, well i hope they only had coffee not weed as the tram lines in that area are going to be very interesting to see if they had crafty smoke. brought 2g king hash and 2g hawaiian haze for 30 euros. lovely wooden menu board

Carmona is in de pijp district of Amsterdam; just off of Van Woustraat @ 2e Jan van der Heijdenstraat 79. There is a Febo on the corner of Van Wou and 2e Jan v/d Heijdenstraat. A few doors down from there. Cant miss it. Tram 4 or 25 from Centrum will get you there; Centuuribaan stop.

Had a pleasent stop here on a rainy Monday swing thru the Pijp...got a 6.50 G of Jack Herrer , OK ,but nothing special ...helpful patron explained what Kif was to one of the TCs ...cool resident cat ...nice music...attractive decor ...several internet stations...a bit out of the way-but much closer in than say the Greenhouse Tolstraat - if you're heading to the Cuyp ,though if you want to see a "Locals" shop,it fits the bill nicely .

I was passing Carmona on my bike this morning and decided to drop in and purchase a bit of hash to take with me on a trip back to ol' blighty this weekend.
I bought 5g of Polm for €20 - which I thought was quite a bargin!
It smokes ok and does exactly what you'd expect for a low budget hash, i.e. you know you've smoked it but you're not too stoned and the "high" doesn't last particularly long.

The shop itself was completely empty - well, it was a Wednesday morning!
The budtender was very friendly and helpful and also didn't seem to mind me talking in "Dutchlish" (Dutch with English thrown in), which some Dutchies don't like.

All in all a nice, relaxed coffeeshop with cool decor and welcoming staff.
I'm sure i'll be back...

i can really recommend c/s carmona.
i tried it after finding yo yo closed yet again.
the owner is cool,but the guy managing the shop is super cool.
locals are very friendly too.
i cant say enough good things about their amnesia haze, a super trippy sativa,& their pre rolled weed spliffs are top notch too.
this c/s became my morning & last thing at night stop.& i will book a ahotel in the area again on my next visit,just to be near carmona.
taste it & see.

Hensmaj is right , this is a great, little unknown cs just near YOYO.
My current fave in the Dam from my trip last week. I went in 3 times in all.
Great deals on hash and top bud at a good price.
There is also internet and a couple of pinball looking machines..

Stopped in around 3 on a Tuesday. Purchased 2 grams of Hawiian Haze for €16 ( I think, I cant find my notes. )

Very big bud, made for a couple of super fat doobies. I was satisfied. The bud was tasty and very sativa. There is 5 or so Internet spots. Long comfy couches along the length of the walls. The whole shop is a tobacco smoking area. Mostly Maroccan patrons, super friendly and chatty to me.
On the same street as YoYo.

After semlling 3 tubs of the selected weed from the at this point very friendly budtender, i decided agaisnt purchasing anything in here, and went in the tobacco smoking room that Twitchaldinho masterfully described. However a few of my crew got into a small argument with the now not so friendly budtender, so we left and hit up Yo Yo

Popped in on the first day to grab the special although it was on the list for day 2 i had to try the special today!.

Hawain (SP) Haze 2gs E15 BARGAIN, fat juicy buds and excellent value. Also tried the Carmona which was 10E a gram and although nice looking was not to good tasting.
Rolled a spliff by the budtender before leaving to toke happily away so cant comment on the smoking room. (SAVE THAT FOR 420)
When i left i managed to grab another 2gs to take with me for stock. Went back day 2 and day 3 grabbing 2gs each trip for the day ahead.

Grabbed 2 grams of the Hawaiiaan Haze (how the fuck do you spell hawaiiaan anyway???) for €15, the weed was ok and certainly not worth anymore money.

You have to buzzed into the smoking room which was really smokey, overall I wasn't impressed apart from the local chick chatting me up in front of the Mrs (who didn't really care ).
